Run and raise funds for cats in need

Will you be running the Hastings Half Marathon in 2019? If so, please support your local RSPCA Branch.

Bluebell Ridge is owned and operated by the Sussex East and Hastings Branch of the RSPCA, which is a separate charity within the national body and is self-funded.

We help to rescue and rehome over 200 abused, abandoned and unwanted cats in Hastings and Rother every year and it costs over £150,000 annually to keep our centre open to continue with our vital work.

How You Can Help Us Make A Difference

It doesn't matter how much you raise for Bluebell Ridge, every pound will go towards keeping our work going to rehabilitate the animals in our care before we find them loving new homes.

Here are some examples of what your donation could pay for

  • £100 will provide shelter, food & bedding for a cat to stay at our centre for one week
  • £150 will pay for an urgent operation for a cat
  • £1,000 will pay for vital vet bills for one month

If you are interested in running the Hastings half marathon and raising funds for local rescue cats, please contact Nikki on 01424 752121 or email bluebellridge@outlook.com

Black and White domestic short haired female, 12 years old approx.Bertha is a kind natured girl and will make a lovable companion. Before being rescued Bertha lived as a stray and is now enjoying the feeling of being loved and cared for, but would like even more to add a forever home into the mix. She has improved massively since her arrival with us; she has gone from a very frightened girl to one who loves being with us and getting attention and fuss in her pod. She needs to be the only pet, in a quiet home. Whoever invites her into their heart will be rewarded with a very loving and loyal companion.
Tabby domestic short haired female, 10 years old approx.Molly is a dear little lady who is very affectionate and loves to sit on you lap and snuggle with you. She has come a long way since her arrival at the cattery after being a stray for some years. A kind lady had taken her in but was unable to look after her any more. She is now looking for a fresh start with an older family who can give her her another chance at finding love and companionship. She would like to be an only pet so she can lap up all the attention.Molly is currently with a foster carer. She is doing very well in her foster home. She is chatty and loving. Could you offer our beloved Molly her forever home? The cattery staff will be happy to give you more information about her.
Tortie DSH female, 10 years old.Pepsi is a gentle girl who really enjoys your company. She is cheeky, playful and affectionate, rolled into one. She is looking for a loving new family to take her into their hearts. She will be a gorgeous companion, happy to lounge around with you on lazy days, and enjoying entertaining you with her games. She would like a home as the only cat of the household, so she can relax and lap up all the attention.
