Run and raise funds for cats in need

Will you be running the Hastings Half Marathon in 2020? If so, please support your local RSPCA Branch.

Bluebell Ridge is owned and operated by the Sussex East and Hastings Branch of the RSPCA, which is a separate charity within the national body and is self-funded.
We help to rescue and rehome over 200 abused, abandoned and unwanted cats in Hastings and Rother every year and it costs over £170,000 annually to keep our centre open to continue with our vital work.

How You Can Help Us Make A Difference

It doesn't matter how much you raise for Bluebell Ridge, every pound will go towards keeping our work going to rehabilitate the animals in our care before we find them loving new homes.

Here are some examples of what your donation could pay for:

£100 will provide shelter, food & bedding for a cat to stay at our centre for one week
£150 will pay for an urgent operation for a cat
£1,000 will pay for vital vet bills for one month

If you are interested in running the Hastings Half Marathon and raising funds for local rescue cats, please contact Nikki on 01424 752121 or email bluebellridge@outlook.com

Tortie & White 8 years old Domestic Long HairedMaple is a beautiful cat in need of a nurturing and understanding friend. She will need an experienced cat person who will give her the time and space to settle in her own time. A careful approach to her introduction to her new home will give her the building blocks she needs to then work on gaining trust in accepting contact. She will need a small quiet settling room to make her own before venturing into more of her new home. Maple will be a lovely little project cat for someone, and gaining her trust will be all the more rewarding. She is looking for that special someone who can accept her for who she is and not expect too much from her. She enjoys company but anything more than this proves too daunting for her. She would best suit a very quiet home with just one or two people for her to get to know, with no children. Available for adoption please enquire. Currently with a Foster Carer.
Ginger tabby and white DSH, male, 3 years old.Oscar is a bright young lad with lots of energy. He is looking for someone who is up for a bit of a rewarding challenge. He needs someone who can offer him plenty of opportunities to play. He loves his feather fishing rod toy and his kickeroo; these really help to reduce his energy levels at the cattery. He is also enjoying his puzzle feeders which get his brain working too. Oscar needs an adult-only household, and somewhere with plenty of outside space available for him to explore.. He will be a great companion in the right home, with no other pets.
Black and white DSH, female, 2 years old approx.Dixie is a poppet with a gentle nature. She is very pretty with her long legs and big ears! She is quite a shy little girl in new surroundings but is very affectionate and loving. She's looking for a quieter, older family home where she can get her bearings in her own time. Once she gets her feet under your table, she will be a friend for life. She's looking forward to a home without other cats as she did not get on too well with others in her previous home.
