Run and raise funds for cats in need

Will you be running the Hastings Half Marathon in 2018? Are you thinking about raising money for a charity? If so, please support your local RSPCA Branch.

Bluebell Ridge is owned and operated by the Sussex East and Hastings Branch of the RSPCA, however it is a separate charity within the national body and is self-financing. Each year the Branch has to raise over £150,000 to keep the centre open and we heavily rely on the generosity of local individuals, businesses and groups.

We help to rescue and rehome over 200 cats in Hastings and Rother every year and we also neuter many hundreds of felines and Bull breeds to prevent suffering.

How You Can Help Us Make A Difference

It doesn't matter how much you raise for Bluebell Ridge, every pound will go towards keeping our work going to rehabilitate the animals in our care before we can find them loving new homes.

Here are some examples of what your donation could pay for:

£25 will pay for vital veterinary care for one cat
£50 will help pay for much needed neutering costs
£75 will provide shelter, food and bedding for five cats, for one day

If you are interested in running the half marathon and raising funds for cats in need, please contact us on 01424 752121 or email bluebellridge@outlook.com

Tortie DLH female, 10 1/2 years old.Bootzie is an elegant looking girl who would suit a quiet and calm house with no other pets, she would benefit from a routine to help her settle. Bootzie is shy and unsure of people and as such would need an owner who understands that it may take her a long time to become comfortable in a new home.
Black DSH male, 10 years old approx.Jingles is a sweet, gentle lad with different coloured eyes, making him very unique. He can be a little shy initially, but when used to his surroundings, gains in confidence and enjoys a gentle fuss. He would make a good companion cat and would ideally prefer one-on-one attention or a calm, quiet household where he can be himself and develop his loving character. He would also like to be the only pet of the household.
White DSH, male, 10 years old.Smirnoff is a loveable and delightful chap, who is full of affection. Although he can be a little shy in new surroundings, he quickly comes forward for attention and fuss. He loves to have his beautiful thick coat groomed and has a lovely loud purr as soon as any attention comes his way. He is looking for a loving home on the quieter side where he can chill out and snuggle up with someone. He needs to be the only pet of the household.
