Concert to Support Bluebell Ridge

A local singing group is presenting a new concert in aid of Bluebell Ridge on Saturday 5 March at 11am.

The singing group, 'Friends Unlimited',formed fifteen years ago, firstly presenting civic Christmas concerts in Hastings Town Hall.Throughout their time, the 3-part harmony group (soprano, contralto and baritone) have supported over twenty local organisations and have raised many hundreds of pounds.

The twelve singers are delighted to be presenting a new concert to support Bluebell Ridge who are owned and operated by the Sussex East and Hastings branch of the RSPCA. They are a separate charity within the national body and are entirely self-financed.

The concert will feature a morning of choral entertainment, including a performance of 'Orpheus in the Underground','Hallelujah' and a tribute to Sir Terry Wogan with 'Floral Dance'.

Tickets are £6 each, which includes interval refreshments and there will also be a raffle.

The money raised from the concert will go towards the local cats and dogs in the charity's care. Each year the branch has to raise more than £150,000 so it relies on the support of the public to continue its vital work.

The Friends in Song concert will betaking place at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery at Bohemia Road, Hastings.

Black DSH female, 5 years old.Hettie is a very beautiful girl with her stunning jet black coat. She is very affectionate, sociable and loves to play. She also likes to have her own space, but she will soon return for more fussing. She is looking for an older family to settle down with and she would like to be the only pet of the household.
White DSH, male, 10 years old.Smirnoff is a loveable and delightful chap, who is full of affection. Although he can be a little shy in new surroundings, he quickly comes forward for attention and fuss. He loves to have his beautiful thick coat groomed and has a lovely loud purr as soon as any attention comes his way. He is looking for a loving home on the quieter side where he can chill out and snuggle up with someone. He needs to be the only pet of the household.
Tabby DSH, 8 years old, female.Beautiful Millie is a dainty cat who although shy initially, is very affectionate and friendly when she's approached quietly. She is looking for a quiet home with an older family, as unfortunately she was quite nervous of the children in her previous home. She is looking forward to being in a new home with and will be a lovely companion for someone.
