Trustees Needed

The RSPCA Sussex East and Hastings Branch are seeking new trustees to join their committee and play a crucial role in making a difference to the lives of animals.

This is a great way to meet like-minded people who share enthusiasm for animal welfare and you will have the opportunity to gain new skills and develop existing ones, whilst helping local animals in need.

As a trustee of the branch, you will have the chance to influence how we care for and prevent cruelty to animals.

Branches are run by a committee of volunteer trustees who are responsible for managing the affairs of the branch. The committee meets monthly and the work is shared between the committee members. Trustees are encouraged to use their areas of expertise and to be actively involved in areas of the Branches activities that are of interest to them.

We are keen to have a committee with a range of skills and experience.  If you have experience in the following areas we would very much like to hear from you:

  • Administration
  • Property Maintenance
  • Fundraising and Events
  • Charity Retail

No matter what your skills or how much time you have available, this is your chance to make a big difference.

If you are over 18 and are
interested in becoming a Trustee, please contact Myra Grove on 01424 752121 or email rspcabluebellridge@hotmail.co.uk

Black DSH, male, 4 years old approx. Can you give Donald a forever home? He came into the cattery very shy and unsure. He has now turned into a lovely friendly affectionate boy, who loves to head bump with pure affection. Donald will make a great companion who would be better suited to an older family not the very young. Come and visit him.
DSH Black female, 5-6 years old. Hettie is a very beautiful girl with a stunning jet-black coat.  Hettie can be affectionate and playful and also has an independent side. She would suit a home where she can choose the comfort of indoors or explore the outdoors in a large garden. Hettie would like an older family with no young children, that will give her the time and care that she needs to adapt to her new environment.  She is very sensitive to sudden movements and noise within the home, so would need a quiet and calm home.
DSH Black male, 2 years old.Matthew is a loving boy who enjoys human company. He is friendly and loves the attention. He can be a little shy at times, but with reassurance, he soon forgets to be nervous. He is a lovely lad who will be a lovely companion.
