Enjoy a purrfect day out at Bluebell Ridge

Cat lovers are invited to support the Bluebell Ridge Cat Rehoming Centre at their Summer Fair on Sunday 22 July from 11am until 2:30pm.

This free event is a great family day out and visitors will have the chance to meet the cats at the centre and see the valuable work undertaken there.

There will be a host of activities to keep cat lovers and children busy with a variety of stalls, including, pet accessories, vintage gifts, jewellery, books, raffle, tombola, homemade refreshments and a range of fun games for children.

Myra Grove, Centre Manager for Bluebell Ridge said: We always look forward to opening our doors to the public as its a chance for people to have fun whilst meeting the cats that we care for. Wed love as many people as possible to come along and support our work. Funds raised on the day will go towards helping local rescue cats in need.

The Summer Fair will be taking place at Bluebell Ridge Centre at Chowns Hill, just off The Ridge in Hastings.

Black DSH male, 10 years old approx.Jingles is a sweet, gentle lad with different coloured eyes, making him very unique. He can be a little shy initially, but when used to his surroundings, gains in confidence and enjoys a gentle fuss. He would make a good companion cat and would ideally prefer one-on-one attention or a calm, quiet household where he can be himself and develop his loving character. He would also like to be the only pet of the household.
Tortie DLH female, 10 1/2 years old.Bootzie is an elegant looking girl who would suit a quiet and calm house with no other pets, she would benefit from a routine to help her settle. Bootzie is shy and unsure of new people. She needs an owner who understands that it may take her a long time to become comfortable in a new home. She is very affectionate on her terms, she like to rub round your legs and hands. We have found she likes to be the one to make contact with us, but can panic when she is touched in return if she's not expecting it.
Tortie DSH female, 13 years old approx.Mavis is a chatty lady who loves a fuss and a cuddle. Mavis is being treated for a thyroid condition which means she has one tablet twice a day to keep things stable. She is very good at taking her medication which is added to her food. She really deserves to find her forever home where she can receive all of the love that she needs.Mavis is currently in a foster home. Please speak to a member of staff for more information. We will be happy to tell you all about her.
