Art Donations Wanted

Bluebell Ridge is calling on local artists of all ages to donate a piece of art and help raise funds for cats in need.

After a successful art exhibition last year, Bluebell Ridge will be holding another event to raise awareness and funds to help abused, abandoned and unwanted cats in Hastings and Rother.

If you're a hobby artist or a professional artist, we would be overjoyed if you would kindly donate a piece of art in any media, including painting, print, photography or mixed media. We are also looking for ceramic or wooden pieces. Your work does not have to be animal linked and can be any genre. Artwork will be priced at £45 or less, with all proceeds going towards helping the cats in our care.

If you would like to donate your art, please email a photo of the artwork, along with the media type and measurements to bluebellridge@outlook.com before Monday 2nd September.

The exhibition will run from Wednesday 30th October until Saturday 2nd November at The Crypt Gallery in St Mary in the Castle, Hastings.

Artwork would need to be delivered to our centre at Bluebell Ridge in Chowns Hill, Hastings before Monday 28th October. We would greatly appreciate it if your artwork could be framed or ready to be hung.

If you have any queries, please contact Nikki Hawes at bluebellridge@outlook.com or on 01424 752121.

Black & White DLH Male, 6 years old approx.Oliver is a sensitive soul with a gentle nature. He is gaining in confidence and has become an affectionate lad, rubbing round you when you crouch to stroke him. Although he was very shy when he first arrived, he has found his feet with us and is improving all the time. He will be a very rewarding cat to have around. In a home, he can put his past of being a stray behind him and get his feet under the table. He really deserves to be cared for and cherished, he is a wonderful cat. He would like a home with an older family.
Black and White domestic short haired female, 12 years old approx.Pippa (formerly Bertha) is a kind natured girl and a loveable little soul who lived as a stray before being rescued. She has thrived so much since giving her a warm and cosy bed to call her own and lots of cattery TLC.Pippa deserves to find a forever home which she can call her own. Who ever invites her into their hearts will be rewarded with a loving and loyal companion and friend.
Ginger DSH, male, 14 years old approx.Ivan is a dear gentleman who enjoys human company. He was a stray before he came to us and looks like he's had to fend for himself for some time. He would like nothing more than a cosy home to call his own, and a safe spot to snuggle down. Although he can be shy of head strokes, he does really enjoy a fuss with a calm slow approach, and has quite a purr when his engine gets going, with his feet padding away with happiness. He would like a home with an older family.
