The Purrfect Fun Day at the Bluebell Ridge.

Cat lovers are invited to come along and support the Bluebell Ridge Cat Rehoming Centre at their Open Day on Sunday 24 May from 11:30am till 3pm.

This free event is a great family day out and visitors will have the chance to meet the cats at the centre and see the valuable work undertaken there. Funds raised on the day will go towards the animals in our care.

There will be a host of activities to keep cat lovers and children busy, including a chance to talk to our knowledgeable volunteers and meet the cats. There will also be a variety of stalls, including crafts, games, homemade cakes and refreshments.

The day is aimed to be fun for all who attend with a raffle and tombola with great prizes to be won.

We will also have a Bach flower remedies practitioner giving consultations to pets and owners in return for a small donation to assist the catterys work.

Myra Grove, Cattery Manager for Bluebell Ridge said: We always look forward to opening our doors to the public on our open days as its a chance for people to have fun while meeting some of the cats that we care for. Wed love as many people as possible to come along and support our work.

Here comes the bride! Custom sequined Vitish and hand beaded Belle booties from Christian Louboutin Outlet graced Naeem Khan's spectacular 2015 Bridal Collection, paired with matching gowns. Amidst a sea of opulent hand cut sequins, extraordinary feather separates and crystal-beaded ball gowns, Khan imparted contemporary silhouettes into his bridal show in New York, with tea length dresses and beaded jumpsuits in the mix. A favorite of Khan, christian louboutin outlet in pristine white satin rounded out the bridal party.

Bluebell Ridge is owned and operated by the Sussex East and Hastings branch of the RSPCA. It is a separate charity within the national body and is entirely self-financing. Each year the branch has to raise more than 150,000 so it relies on the support of the public to continue its vital work.

Money raised on the day will go towards helping cats like Jasper and Bella. Six-month-old kittens, Jasper and Bella arrived at the centre with flu symptoms and Jasper was suffering with very limited sight. They had come from a household with a large number of cats and they were exceptionally nervous. After a lot of love and care and an 18 month stay at the cattery, Jasper and Bella found their forever home with some lovely people who have helped them to enjoy life again.

The open day will be taking place at the Bluebell Ridge Centre at Chowns Hill, Hastings.
For more information on the open day please contact Myra Grove on 01424 752121.

Ginger and white DLH, female, 11 years old approx.Tess is a beautiful girl with a personality to match. She is looking for a fresh start in life with someone who can shower her with love, as she so deserves. She is very loveable and enjoys snuggling up on your lap for a snooze. She would be a perfect companion for someone looking for a homely cat. Her confidence has come on leaps and bounds since she came to us. When she first arrived, she was in shock initially and was very scared of the other cats around her. Although still not keen on her feline neighbours, she's realised she's safe and this has allowed her loving nature to shine through. She would therefore really benefit from a home as only pet and without young children where she can kick back and relax. Whoever adopts this gorgeous girl will be very lucky and well rewarded.
Ginger DSH, male, 14 years old approx.Ivan is a dear and sensitive gentleman who was a stray before he came to us and looked like he had to fend for himself for some time. He would like nothing more than a cosy home to call his own, and a safe spot to snuggle down. Ivan is very shy and requires a patient owner who he could learn to trust and gain confidence. Once he is comfortable, he will really enjoy a fuss and loves being brushed. He would like a quiet home with an older family and could possibly be an indoor cat in a spacious environment. His adoption fee will be reduced as we'd rather Ivan spent his senior years in a comfortable loving home.Ivan is currently in a foster home. Please ask for details.
Tabby DSH, female, 1 year approx.Henrietta has come on such a long way with her confidence since she arrived at the cattery. With lots of TLC and trust building, she's gone from a scared little cat, too afraid to allow contact, to popping out of her pod to sit on your lap for a fuss (and a few cheeky treats). She's also started to explore the cattery a little, but comes back to us for a bit of rub round for reassurance. She's an amazing little character who, with a nurturing and committed owner or older family, will blossom and grow in confidence all the more. She's such a gentle cat, and with not a bad bone in her body, she's looking for someone to give her a second chance.
