A hidden treasure of a garden is to open to the public to raise money for Bluebell Ridge Cat Rehoming Centre.
Green-fingered Mary Bristow who is the Chair of the RSPCA Sussex East & Hastings Branch, will be opening her garden at her Ellerslie Lane home in Bexhill.
Mary was one of the original people who first set up Bluebell Ridge Cattery in 2000, which was once known as Capricorn Kennels. She has worked and supported the RSPCA for 40 years.
Funds raised on the day will go towards Sussex East & Hastings Branch which runs a cat rehoming centre, and a dog rehoming service.
The garden has beautiful flowers and a wonderful pond. The event will also have a variety of stalls including a raffle and refreshments.
Myra Grove, Cattery Manager for Bluebell Ridge said: "We are really grateful to Mary for her kind and continued support. The garden is wonderful and I just hope the sun will be shinning for it to be seen in its full glory."
The garden, at 25 Ellerslie Lane, Bexhill On Sea, will be open on Sunday 14 June between 1pm and 5pm. A 3 entrance charge will go to the Bluebell Ridge as well as money raised from refreshments sales.
