Safe Haven

Sponsor a Pod

Every year we care for over 200 cats that may have been abused, neglected or abandoned. We need your help to continue to look after and rehabilitate these animals before we can find them loving new homes.

The Safe Haven programme allows you to sponsor a pod which provides a safe and comforting environment for our cats. You won’t be helping just one feline, you'll be sponsoring the lives of all who pass through the cattery every year.

What will your sponsorship go towards?

It will go towards the cats’ care, rehabilitation and medical treatment. Whilst they are in our care we give them a safe haven - we make sure they feel loved and secure by caring for their physical needs as well as giving them regular exercise and company.

By sponsoring a pod you will receive:

  • Your name and message on the pod
  • Certificate
  • Bookmark
  • Car sticker

How do I sign up?

By sponsoring a cat pod you will be helping the lives of not just one animal but the many animals that spend time with us. Signing up is easy, whether you want to do it for yourself, as a gift for a friend, or in memory of a loved one. All you need to do is download and complete our Safe Haven Form and return it to Bluebell Ridge. It will only take you a couple of minutes to complete, but your support will have an impact for many years to come!

Please see below for a standing order form to make your donation.

If you are a school, business or a group and would like to sponsor a pod, please contact Nikki Hawes at bluebellridge@outlook.com or call 01424 752121.

Ginger DSH, male, 14 years old approx.Ivan is a dear and sensitive gentleman who was a stray before he came to us and looked like he had to fend for himself for some time. He would like nothing more than a cosy home to call his own, and a safe spot to snuggle down. Ivan is very shy and requires a patient owner who he could learn to trust and gain confidence. Once he is comfortable, he will really enjoy a fuss and loves being brushed. He would like a quiet home with an older family and could possibly be an indoor cat in a spacious environment.Ivan is currently in a foster home. Please ask for details.
Ginger and white DLH, female, 11 years old approx.Tess is a beautiful girl who is looking for a fresh start in life with someone who can shower her with love, as she so deserves. She is very affectionate and friendly, but will occasionally let you know when she's had enough. This could be due to her dislike of the other cats around her. She would therefore really benefit from a home as only pet and without young children where she can kick back and relax.
Bengal female, 10 years old.Phoebe is a very sociable and beautiful looking friendly girl who loves to chat and enjoys the attention. She would suit a household where she can interact and be part of a family possibly with older children. She would need to be the only cat of the household however she has lived with dogs.
